Brand Identity & Print Materials for Tonic by Spy

“We were commissioned to bring an edge and vitality back to their offer. In a market where companies are jostling for clients, clarity is key. We started by changing the name to Tonic which set the tone for the identity and website. Deceptively simple, colours vibrate, the copy is uplifting and the marque shifts playfully. To reflect the energy of the business we collaborated with photographer Angela Moore and food stylist Peta O’Brien, to produce a suite of intriguing images that use food in innovative ways.”

Spy is a London-based design practice founded in 2003. We create bold and effective work for an eclectic range of clients. Successful projects come from developing great understanding from the start. They’re good at listening and take time to fully grasp their client’s personality and objectives. This helps to develop long-term relationships, where they continue to deliver across different platforms.

Brand Identity for MEG Lab by Alice Donadoni

“MEG Lab is a multidisciplinary design studio. Its style is simple and clean but also refined and elegant. Avant Garde’s characteristic upper case ligatures were used in its logotype and typography to represent MEG Lab’s work on optimising space, while the added serifs convey elegance and femininity.”

Alice Donadoni is a freelance graphic designer and occasional illustrator living and working in London. She has left some of her best work here for you to check out, hoping that you’ll enjoy scrolling through the projects as much as she did while producing them.
