Visual Identity for Artek by Tsto

“Our task was to come up with a visual system based on Artek’s existing corporate identity, which we layered with an additional typeface, a set of illustration panels and new visual guidelines. The illustrations rely on close-ups of distinct forms and details within the Artek product range, all cropped into a shape of a square.”

Tsto is a graphic design agency based in Helsinki and New York. They focus on visual concepts and art direction. Their approach is thorough and hands-on. They tackle an assignment by first taking it apart to its bare essentials, and then building it in a new way that best serves the purpose. This philosophy lets them go deeper than the surface, to the hidden core of each case. Through the varied skills of our designers they find the best-suited tools to bring their ideas to life. They do it in a way that focuses on the whole but with attention to all details.

Visual Identity for Nežno by Aleksander Znosko

“The aim of the project was to create a visual identity that would fully reflect the nature of the brand. All printed materials, labels and bags have been designed in close reference to the fabrics used by the designers. The idea of using only black and white colours in visual communication was adopted in order to highlight the products instead of competing with them in terms of visual aspects, to coexist in neutral relations without losing their characteristics.”

Aleksander Znosko specializes in designing visual identities, posters, publications and websites. He graduated from the faculty of Media Art and the faculty of Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He has participated in various collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He is a member of STGU (Association of Polish Graphic Designers).
